The VSS Junior football team put it on the Fulton juniors in the first round of the

playoffs, 24 -0 Probably their best game of the year.

I drove to Kelowna last week to photograph the Ice Dragons. What a great group. I had a wonderful time and the ladies seemed to be having a lot of fun as well.

VSS Rugby is in full swing. Last week they defeated Kalamalka by a score of 10 -5 despite a number of high tackles that were not called by the referee.

Basketball in Vernon

Had an opportunity this week to take in a couple of Basketball games. Action was good, athletes were very talented. Amazes me how much faster the game is than when I was in high school. Someone told me it is because the shoes are so much better now. Hmmm??

Valley View Defeats Fulton

The Valley View Vikings came to Vernon this weekend and defeated the Fulton Maroon by a score of 12 - 7. It was a hard fought game, with Valley View overcoming a 7 - 6 halftime deficit to win the game.

Sugar

Went to Mission Hill Park in Vernon last week to get photos of Sugar and her owner. What a beautiful park, and not too many people know about it. Sugar was the perfect model.

Vernon Vipers Hockey

FINALLY I made it to a hockey game with my camera. The Vernon Vipers played a Sunday matinee game today at 2:00.

I love hockey, always plenty of action and the lights shining off the ice make it easier to get good action shots.
